The Project
The new $86 million courthouse & police complex works comprise of construction of four levels accommodating a Courthouse and Police Complex.
Courthouse:
- Modern and safe environment for delivery of court services.
- State of the art video conferencing and digital recording facilities.
- Five courtrooms and pre-trial conference room.
- Separate and secure facilities for victims of crime.
Police Complex:
- A contemporary environment for the delivery of police services to the Armadale police district.
- Modern detainee interview and public interview rooms.
- A modern custodial facility.
- Dedicated specialist areas to support the law enforcement role.
Timeline
The project commenced in February 2020 and was completed February 2023.
Overview
TES were engaged to carry out the complete electrical services including: Lighting & Power, Lighting Control system, Fire Detection, Communications, PET System, AV Systems, Interview Room Video Recording System, IPTV System, Security & CCTV, Coordination with Principals equipment supplier and installer representatives for supply and fit off of MDAS, radio equipment, etc.
Due to the confidential & sensitive nature of this project, TES worked closely with the client’s stringent site requirements ensuing respective trades and suppliers followed the authorities protocols for working on this project.
